In this free intro to yoga class students will learn the basics of a modern yoga practice in a safe, supportive environment. After attending the class, students will have a good understanding of many of the foundational poses used in most yoga classes, variations of the pose to suit their needs, and confidence to walk into their first “beginner” or “all-levels” yoga class. This intro to yoga class is appropriate for both brand new students and for those returning to yoga who want a “refresher course” in order to deepen their practice. Students are provided a foundation in yogic breathing, meditation techniques, and the core philosophies behind the tradition. All you need to do is bring your body, explore your boundaries, and have fun!
